As far as technical quality goes, this (like the rest of your fics) has little for me to professionally quibble about. Dagnabbit, ye make it hard to give a good critique when ye make so few glaring mistakes _

The only problem I really have is that Sylphiel mentioned meeting Gourry and that he already had the sword of light. Maybe he borrowed it when he met sylphiel?

All in all, this is one of the very few Slayers Pro-Gourry fics out there. Especially without any real romantic flavor. 9.5/10

I liked it. That was an interesting take on that situation, and how Gourry set out on his journey.

I think most of what oughta be said has been said... it was so nice to see a story that gives poor Gourry a bit of the limelight I always pictured a less than wonderful childhood for him, somehow. And: I make a vote too for the whole gang meeting Miranda!

Yee! A Gourry story! Great look into the murky past, and your characterization is nifty. Fortune teller reminds me of an old art teacher of mine Great story; your writing style gets better with each one.

Yay! I really enjoyed reading this fic. Hey I felt you did a great job at those original characters. Just look at the response you got for Miranda. She is a cool character. Nice idea about the freud too. It helps to have someone who tells futures around. I really do love the description of the sword bringing out the worst is people. Hehehe, yeah in the TV series he really did get dumber as it went along. Poor Gourry's character in TRY. Great story!

Very good. you should do a sequal where Gourry comes back with Lina, Amelia, and Zelgadis where they all meet Miranda. that would be very good.

I thought this was very cute. I can see that being the way things went. I also read the other story and love the tie in at the end. Hope to read more things.
