Good Story! When I looked at the title I thought it was gonna be some old ranch type country story but I knew it would be good since you wrote it! Poor Jeannie *sob sob* Why did they both leave in the first place u cant place love above anything! Good story but nothing beats Gloss! *blinks quietly, slight smile* When I saw the name of this fic, the first thoight in my head was Remy. And I couldn't help checking it out. I wasn't disapointed. It was all quite smoothly written, almost elegant sort of style. It seemed to fit them... My best relationship with the chars is from the old show, thoigh, so I'm probably missing alot of char nuances from the comics. *sigh*

Good person, that I am, here you are. The ending was a bit incomplete. The ride was so great, it's like, it just stopped. The ending you've got has a classic "back at the beginning"-type vibe going on, and all it really needs is some closure. It's like trying to come full circle, and jumping over something that should have been treaded through. FOR SHAME! But, I still adored the story.

I was wondering why you didn't put the mutant abilities into the story.Without them they're really not the same people.Cyclops wore no ruby sunglasses either and Rogue made love when she can't even be touched.Well,it was good if you look at it like a perspective of if they weren't mutants.Man...,you need to write a novel,that was great!also,I was confused at Jean's father being named Xavier....

Great story! I'm glad Scott and Jean and Rogue and Remy ended up together but I did feel sorry for Donitello. He seemed like a nice guy overall.

I do not wish to sound critical, but I think you should have ended it differently. I know you feel like you owe your fans, but if you feel the plot will work better in another way, go with it. That is not to say ignore them; just take the critisism or compliments that will better your writing and leave everything else. I am saying this as one fanfic writer to another. I would also be interested in reading your alternate version.

I do not know if you would care to hear this, but I would have thought the ending would have evoked the right emotions you wanted to create if Rogue di not leave her husband and Remy wasted away. I might not WANT that to happen, but literature is not all perfume and roses. Jean, I think, did not have to die; and I like how you kept her with Scott, but with little to hope for. She knows she is dying, but she wants to make the most of it. I really compliment the way you handled the Jean/Scott affair.

p.s. I love the song, and I am really glad to see another fanfic author doing a songfic to something other than the same old pop crap that our society dishes out to us and expects us to like it.

That was a great ending! Rogue and Remy finally got together and I think that Donatello might had a hand in the making of the lyrics. It was bittersweet like you promised and it had broken hearts. I hope you continue to write te great stories that I know you can.

I really like this ending. How the House ends up haunting all the relationships at some point in time. One of the better song-fic related stories I've seen.
