Ha! The reason they are tied together! He killed her brother and she ruined his life as well. This is why they'll understand each other's misery and end up with each other.

Coincidence moment: I was listening to the background music of Is Paris Burning from Commandos 3 when reading this fic and a reference is made to it.
Anywho, I like they way the last 4 lines told of their physical response to each other. Even when Toushirou is in despair, he can't help being affected by Karin's presence. Or that is the way I perceive it to be.

See! They are too similar and in the end they'll find comfort in each other!

The simplicity of Karin's logic: "... she's a vampire, Toushirou is a vampire, and sooner or later, humans become vampire food."
This was beautiful and so true to how she would think through things.

Oh, these are the good version of vampires. Like that of Van Helsing and Anne Rice. Not the bad version. As expected of you :D

I guess tit for tat does work for this pairing. Also, the last sentence makes sense because after ruining each other's life, they'll be drawn to each other too. They're bonded over it.
