just gotta say thanx 4 this i came across it a few weeks back and just came round to reveiwing but i think th youve got holly and all the other canon characters just right, it annoys me when people mess up the characters but this was amazing any chance of a sequel? ;) i read it all in one and i cant think of one thing to criticise thanx for this :) xxxx

Hey! Long time no see! Time for a good ol' constructive-ish review:

You described the fight scene VERY well - I am impressed. The picture created is vivid, which is always a plus to the final score, so to speak. You made a few typos, but I'll leave you to find those yourself. :)

The thing is it might have been a little bit OOC. Holly's trying to prove to the force that she should be treated as an equal, so the whole seductive strategy is unlikely, but still very possible. It was, as Root said, 'an interesting strategy'. But Root was the one that seemed OOC - I think he would've intervened in some way. I don't think it's like him to stutter, or to let Holly seduce Long in front of him. Remember, he was a tad bit sexist in Recon (supplement book to the Artemis Fowl series - I think you've read it, but I'm not sure) so I'm pretty sure he'd wail on her if she did something like that. Then again, I'm not Eoin Colfer so anything goes around here.

The only other thing is that the chapter was a bit short, but that's only personal preference.

Near the end, I really liked the way you described Zarshalla stepping onto the mat and Holly's reaction to it. It'll be interesting to see how she reacts to the foul play - being a rookie, I don't think she'll act like a pro, but then that's just me.

Superb writing - witty and descriptive combined. And that's difficult.

Oh oh oh! Mememe! I think it should be a rematch thing, like where Rowan wins, then Holly, and the students are egging them on or something. Then you could choose either Holly winning, and keeping him from calling her princess, Rowan winning and doing something Rowan-like, or Root having to break it off or calling it a tie or something. Of course, it's your choice. one request, I want to see Caleb again! He sounds so cute! Ugh, girly me reared its ugly head. Update soon!:D

I don't know what to expect! When I think Holly should win, I think of the humiliation if she lost, which would be sad, but good for character development. And then she's the heroin so it's expected that she would win every fight, but not the best way to go. So MANY CHOICES! Alright, one choice, two options and it all comes down to good ol' RAHbooks. :)
