LOL!

You are so awesome! I love this oneshot so much. It’s funny, sweet, wonderful and fluffy, it’s perfect! And I was so excited to see that Don and Jess are also in it. Fantastic!

Oh yay! It’s lovely to see some girl talk again. I really like the friendship between Jess and Lindsay. They always have a lot of fun together; making fun of their men, going out and talking about everything. And it seems since Lindsay became a mom, those evenings where she can just be a “normal” woman are pretty rare. So of course she enjoys her meeting with Jess to the fullest, it’s exactly what she needs. Even though she loves being a mom and a wife, sometimes she needs to get out and do something nice and fun only for her. I mean she has a tough job and a husband, that’s a lot of work. She definitely deserves to have some time for herself. Though she really has no reason to feel bad, she didn’t leave Jess hanging. Jess understands her completely; Lindsay is a mom now and has other priorities than going out. That’s the way it should be and she definitely had no reason to apologize for that. “I'm sorry. I know I neglected you. It just seems that now that Lucy's in school, we have even more to do. We have to help her with her homework; we listen to her about what happened at school. It seems as if we're constantly busy.” - “Oh, I didn't want to hear an apologize!” Jess replied quickly. “I fully understand. I mean, she is getting older, she is learning new stuff all the time. Of course she needs your support.” Jess is right about that, I agree completely.

I think every parent is a little scared and nervous when their child starts going to school. It’s a new and important part of the child’s life and it makes parents realizes that slowly but surely their kid is growing up. So I do believe that it’s pretty nerve-racking for a parent to let go and send their kid to school. They are afraid he or she is going to be bullied, not to get along with the teachers or not being able to handle the learning matter. All these are normal fears IMO.

OMG! So what’s better than Danny spending some time with Lucy, playing whatever she wants? Right, Don and Danny spending some time with Lucy, playing whatever she wants. LOL. The tough cops from New York playing model for little Lucy, that’s just too good to be true. I would so love to see what Danny and Don look like. LOL. And I guess the faces of Lindsay and Jess are priceless. Seeing their men covered in paint their hair pulled into little pigtails is something quite unusual… at least I hope so. Aw, and Lucy always makes me smile, she’s so adorable and cute. It’s fun to see how determinate she is about the whole make up thing. She’s definitely as stubborn as her parents. LOL. And how cute is it when she tells Don and Danny off, huh? “Daddy, how many more times do you want to ask that?” Lucy groaned annoyed. “You are not allowed to open your eyes yet. I'm not finished.” - “Come on, Lucy. Just a little peek, so we can see how pretty we are,” Don said. Lucy shook her head. “No. And stop talking finally, I can't make you pretty when you keep on moving your faces all the time!” - “She is pretty bossy today,” Don replied. Danny chuckled. “Does that surprise you? She is just like her mother. I tell you, those girls are the bosses here and I have to do what they want.” - “Daddy!” Lucy complained. “Stop talking finally or I won't make you pretty anymore.” Danny sighed playfully. “Okay, fine. I will be good now.” That’s hilarious. But it’s so wonderful and sweet to see Danny and Don playing along with her. Actually I think they have a lot of fun, they’re still big kids themselves. And they would do everything to make Lucy happy. It’s so much fun to see these three together in one scene. I hope you’ll write another oneshot with a scene like that!

Of course Lindsay and Jess have to take pictures of their men, it’s not very often they get to see them like this. But they should try to blackmail them with the pictures. I’m pretty sure they would do almost everything so that Jess and Lindsay won’t show the pictures around the lab. Though I have absolutely no doubt that Danny looks incredible adorable this way. But I think Danny can wear whatever he wants and have make up in his face, it doesn’t matter, he always looks hot. :D Danny is lucky that Lindsay loves him; otherwise he would be running around with make up in his face for quite a while, since he’s not able to remove it by himself. “Isn't it fun to be parents?” she asked, entering the room as well. He smiled at her through the mirror. “Yeah, I couldn't think of anything more awesome than having my hair all messed up while my face looks like a painting,” he answered, but despite his best attempts, he didn't manage to sound annoyed. Wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, Lindsay snuggled into him. “I know you love it way too much. You'd do everything for her.” - “Not only for her,” Danny answered with a wink. He rubbed a wet piece of toilet paper over his cheek, groaning as he didn't manage to remove the make up at all. Chuckling, she turned him around. “Let me do that for you,” she said. “Close your eyes.” He raised his eyebrows. “Not sure if that's a good idea. Last time I did that, our daughter turned me into a clown.” LOL. Always flirting and teasing each other, but they can’t help it, they just can’t stop. Not that I mind!

But I think this scene shows also their closeness and their wonderful connection once more. “You're such a wonderful man, you know that?” she couldn't help but ask. “Is that so?” he asked teasingly. “Yeah.” Lindsay nodded. Like so many times, she felt a strong, wonderful warmth rising inside her as she gazed up at him. “You're such a great father. Not every man would play model for his daughter like that. You're always there for her. And for me as well.” - “That doesn't surprise me,” Danny asked, tightening his arms around her. “Because I love my girls.” No doubt about that. He adores his girls and loves them more than anything else in the world. Oh and I guess they had a pretty good time under the shower, right? But how can you leave us hanging? That’s an evil ending you know? Maybe you could write a M rated oneshot again? It doesn’t even have to be based on this oneshot, but I really would love to see some smut again!

Anyway, you did an absolutely amazing job with this oneshot. It’s perfect! Keep it up, hon!

ROTFLMFAO! Okay, you don't know how hard it was to keep a straight face while reading this. I hope this isn't one of the stories you have kept from us because this was PURE FUN! I adore how Lindsay and Jess were talking about how hard it was to get together for a girls night when they had kids but it is so worth it because they are seeing the wonder in their eyes when they learn a new thing in school.

But it had to be Lucy making the guys look their best for when their wives came home. Its scary but I can picture how Danny and Don look in here, and yes...they look beautiful! LMFAO! If Lucy is bossy then it only comes from passing on a portion of his personality, mister! HA! As for Jess taking a picture with her cell...I smell a nice new photo for the Police Bulletin Board! Heehee! It is so cool to see Lindsay and Danny sharing that moment of taking the make up off, who could resist touching that man? As for the ending, I object! You started smut, you should finish smut! I think I'll have some other agreeing with me. :D

Just then, Don's laughter filled the room, startling his best friend. Lucy turned back to him, glaring angrily.

"You looked!" she shouted. "I said no looking until I'm finished!"

"Sorry," Don laughed. "But I think your Daddy is really pretty enough now. Believe me, he looks awesome."

Danny couldn't help but open his eyes again. A grin lit his face as he glanced at Don's colourful face. "Says the right one. You working as a clown now? I always knew they'd sell you to a circus one day."

"Well, maybe you keep your comments low until you looked at yourself," Don answered with a wink. "Lucy, why don't you show your Daddy how pretty he is?"

Smiling brightly, Lucy picked up the hand mirror and offered it to Danny. Her father raised his eyebrows at the sight, once again causing his best friend to laugh.

"What do you think?" Lucy asked.

"That's very...pretty," Danny managed to say, trying his best to smile which made Don laugh even more."

"To everyone's amusement, Jess had made her husband leave the apartment with his face still covered in various colours. So other people could enjoy the show as well, like she had said."

"Wrapping her arms around his waist from behind, Lindsay snuggled into him. "I know you love it way too much. You'd do everything for her."

"Not only for her," Danny answered with a wink. He rubbed a wet piece of toilet paper over his cheek, groaning as he didn't manage to remove the make up at all. Chuckling, she turned him around.

Still Danny did like he was told. Carefully, Lindsay started to removed the make up. When his face was clean again, she studied him for a moment. She loved to do that; no matter if she woke up earlier than him or when they were sitting on the couch together, watching a movie. Or when he was playing with their daughter. Leaning in, she placed a gentle kiss onto his lips.

"Hm, that tasted good." Opening his eyes again, he grinned at her. He wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her flush against his chest. She smiled up at him.

"You're such a wonderful man, you know that?" she couldn't help but ask.

"Is that so?" he asked teasingly.

"Yeah." Lindsay nodded. Like so many times, she felt a strong, wonderful warmth rising inside her as she gazed up at him. "You're such a great father. Not every man would play model for his daughter like that. You're always there for her. And for me as well."

"That doesn't surprise me," Danny asked, tightening his arms around her. "Because I love my girls."

"And your girls love you as well." She snuggled into him."
