Asuka 2002-12-20 . chapter 1What can I say that I haven't said already? ^^; I love character-study fics, and you do a better job than anyone of getting inside Sol's head. It's incredibly themely as always and a compelling read - it's stuff like this, IMO, that establishes you as the undisputed ruler of this category's fandom.

Anca-13 2002-03-22 . chapter 1Beautiful, Katzy. I'm not really up to sounding very intelligent right now, sorry. ^^' Well-written, emotional, thoughtful. Ah, the joys of obsession~
Plus there's Frederick. Happy. =) |
Kohl Noir 2002-03-09 . chapter 1*whistles* Whew, Kat-chan. That was quite the brain-buster.
What interested me -and it may have been just my perception of it, but - was the way that although Sol controlled the body, Freddie-san seemed more...strong in that dream. Psychologically speaking.
Very impressed.

Tumbleweed 2002-03-08 . chapter 1I'm not entirely sure how many testosterone points I'll lose for saying this, but here goes.
*ahem* I liked it. It's a good 'fic- though not good in a 'Musical Gunfight' or 'Breakdancing Giant Robot' sort of way, but good because of the writing style and whatnot.
Like I've said before in other random reviews, you're a good writer. And here, you shift your focus away from romance and/or romantic jokes (which, I admit, I don't care for) and go on to other stuff. Which, in this case happens to be Sol Badguy's ficked up psychology. I've actually thought of the conflict between Frederick & The Gear before, briefly considering even taking my shot at writing on it.
I've never really developed the idea- though this little fic of yours has given me an idea of what to do with Sol in an upcoming 'fic I may or may not be writing sometime soon, time permitting and whatnot. Heh. *Evil Grin* |
iczer6 2002-03-08 . chapter 1Yea gods!! Freddie and Sol going at it. I must say the concept of Sol personifying the Id and Fred representing the Superego is quite ingenious. One wonders though about who represent the ego....
[Loved the part about Freddies lust for power. What science wouldn't jump at the chance for superpowers.] |
