I just like cried and stuff..

I don't know what to say, but thank you for this beautiful fic. Here I am, crying so much because I know the pain of losing a loved dog. Losing your best friend. The one who loved you no matter what."I look up into his eyes, and I want to tell him that in my eyes, everything he does is perfect and right, and that I love him no matter what".
I am still crying.

I didn't cry the first few times I read this, but now I'm reading it again (after it stuck in my memory) after I found out that my dog will have to be put to sleep (she's thirteen and a half) and now I can't stop crying. This is brilliant and I love it (even if it does make me cry).

It really gets the unconditional love and loyalty that dogs have. I love the quotes especially the poem at the bottom.

i can soo understand how Arthur feels. My dog of just 4 months died, I had to put him to sleep. It hurts but i will get another dog.

Oh my- no matter how many times I read this I always cry and I've read it twelve times. This is like o of my favorite stories on this site. My media player also always seems to know when I'me reading this and plays the most horribly depressing songs I have. XD

Oh my god... I'm actually crying right now. I started crying when Al started getting old. I love the last few lines at the end though. Poor Arthur...I would wish for the same thing if I was him. My dog Chipper died a few months back, and I still really miss him, and your story made me think of him. Thank you.

This was such a cute story! So sad, I was in tears by the ending...I knew he was going to die, but still! I really like how the story was told from his point of view, a really unique idea!
