This premise has of course been used before, a lot. However, you still manage a hilarious and orrigional fic'. I love it."And she even made me *bribe* her to do it!

Your comedic timing is great, and although I usually go for the more angsty fics, I have to say that I admire your style.

Enjoyed the story, although I'll not give it an A-plus rating. One of the great strengths of "Scanner" is that it's short. I don't mean that in a demeaning way one of the problems of Daria fanfiction is that people say in ten paragraphs what they should say in one (not to mention that EVERYONE wants to write a sequel these days). This little fic tells what it must, and no more. I GREATLY admire economy of style.

My only nit to pick and the nit that keeps you from earning an "A-plus is that Daria wastes her intellectual firepower on people unable to understand it. "Boudica Lysistrata"?

The unusual names would be a fire alarm to most people, even if we downgrade the brain power of the Fashion Club. A much more plausible set of names would have been "Mary Jane", "Tammy Sue", or something else more pedestrian. Why go for literary genius when the unfashionable will serve just as well, and perhaps, even better?

All in all, good work, and an easy recommendation for friend and foe. I now fade into the twilight again.

One niggling complaint, though. Sandi does not malaprop. She has an excellent vocabulary.

There have been a lot of stories in which the whole "Daria's not my sister" thing comes to a head. This is the cleverest of them all, and I include the episode "Lucky Strike" when I say that. It was perfect, ideal revenge, the sort of thing one knows Daria would be capable of if ever pushed to the point.
