I loved the first few chapters back when you first started this piece, and then it went in a direction that I didn't really see coming...and I loved it! I enjoyed how Mr. Zen found that he could learn something about peace and letting go from the one who originally scoffed at his Zen. I was intrigued by the revelation that Jack is The Pope. I'd love for you to dig deeper into that side of the story and maybe have Dani realize that letting things go is difficult when they refuse to release THEIR hold on YOU. Great story (as usual) and thanks for another great Crews/Reese fix! Looking forward to whatever your next project may be! M

you developed our favorite characters to their full potential: they were what they were and beyond. you deepened and broadened them at the same time. it melted my heart when dani walled down and softened for charlie. they were beautiful and sexy pair in this fic. love every bit of it.

simply loved the passage beginning with: "You cannot mask the true nature of a thing forever.[...]" so true, so fitting to these characters. and of course the last paragraph:

"But no matter how hard he tried one thing remained – one thing burned through the nothing – her."

i had to think about the scene in season 2 where Crews insisted he needed "a bigger gun" while what he wanted was "a peaceful soul": again Dani burning through the nothing, through his Zen.

I just want you to know that I enjoy your stories. It's through you that I get my Life-Crews/Reese fix. You write excellent stories and while I wait for you to update again, I'm going to reread your other tales. Thanks for sharing your writings.

Nice twist. Interesting take on why Jack treated Dani the way he did, I did not see that coming.

Also, your descriptions are amazing and I loved the line in the previous chapt. about Charlie looking like an Irish fighter...could really picture that.
