I don't think Damon could ever be that masochistic (Thank God!), but I personally believe his relationship with Elena is more masochistic than anything with Katherine could be. I kind of just like the thought of Katherine and Damon being two broken puzzle pieces fitting together not-so-perfectly, but perfect enough. Great job.

While it was a tad OOC, in a way it wasn't.

You wrote these characters true to who they are, but at the same time you wrote the exact changes that would need to happen with Damon and Katherine, if they were to ever get together.

This is pretty much what I'd wish to happen in the future for TVD lol.
