A good story but for me I have to disagree with Quatre. Trowa very much deserves his fate as does Dorothy and guilt alone isn't enough of a punishment for you health. I think they both deserve worse because they both knowingly cheated and put Quatre into that situation, it is completely their faults that Quatre is sick.

I love the inspirational line at the end but too few could actually claim it. When you have a socially stigmatic disease then just because your living doesn't mean your alive. Society will always judge you, even the completely innocent who were brought the disease without knowledge.

Maybe no one does deserve it but there are those that truly didn't deserve it. They did their best to keep themselves health and someone else took that decision from them. It's truly unfair. Great job writing this.
From the phrasing I'm assuming that your friend has lost his battle (though I hope that I'm wrong). If I'm not wrong then please know that I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you're coping well and living (for yourself and them).

A GREAT HUMAN story well told. How very interesting, that some folks decide to live with a deadly disease. And at the same time, others are just exsisting with no known ailment, save perhaps, FOF.(fear of failure) Or maybe more dealy, (that long word that means putting off till later), and later NEVER COMES till it is TOO LATE for anything.

I was really expecting that to be depressing but it was actually uplifting- just like Quatre would be in that situation. It's really good you put a positive spin on it, instead of making people afraid of stuff like that. Cool alternate pairings too!
