This is well done little piece- so sad and heartfelt. Poor Roy.

God that was depressing. And sadly it gives me insight into what kind of hell he's going through right now. It really was a dumb choice of DC to kill off Lian. Just so they can give Roy more angst. Well they got it. After reading this it makes me wish all the more that Lian was back. Even if it was something as half-baked as cloning her just so his life could return to normal. Actually while I was reading this it inspired me to pick up on a plot thread I considered a few months ago. And actually helped me to start writing the fic again. So thanks for that. God I hope things get better for Roy, even though I know it wont. And that it'll be a few years before he even gets back to what he once was. Stupid DC.

See, this is why I love Roy. Because he's not perfect, not even close. A prfect person would've sobbed into his friends' shoulders, gotten sympathy and comfort food, and been back to normal and spouting "I'm-better-for-it" crap by the next week. A perfect person wouldn't have messed up nearly everything. But Roy, he isn't perfect or invincible. He's one of us.

Well, I personally am convinced that Lian will come back. Legit. No character in comics ever stays dead. The rule ued to be that it was only Jason Todd, Bucky,and Uncle Ted that stayed dead. But look now.

The look on Roy's face when she comes back will be beautiful to see.

Thank you for a great story. You'e pretty much the first author I've met who writes decent angst.
