I am too lazy to login right now, but I have too say, I love the perspective on Hermione's thoughts. I like the way you had her thinking about her parents, in the books she doesn't seem to dwell on them as much, and in the movie, it isn't quite the same. I think the worst thing about movies is their inability to give exact thought to the characters' actions. Though I disagree with you about all of the things they put into the movie, (they totally just skipped over the entire argument between Harry and Remus) I really absolutely loved this scene. I just hope no one takes it in a way it wasn't intended, it deserves to simply be seen in the same way you portrayed it, pure friendship.

I think that Hermione and Harry's friendship is something really special.

Because even though Ron's meant for Hermione and Ginny for Harry, they had to do part of the hunting Horcruxes journey alone, and so I'm pretty sure they'll always have a bond. One Ron may never quite be able to take part in. Because he left.

This was absolutely gorgeous. I think you managed to write down Hermione's feelings in that particular scene very well, this is exactly what I would have imagined her thinking. It was such an adorable scene in the movie, and normally I'm pissed when they add/change stuff, but Kloves did so well with this scene, I couldn't even complain. It just made you think of "what could have happened", you know? I think you did it great justice, this was such a lovely piece of writing. Loved it to bits.

Aw this was great; what a awesome, tender moment between Harry and Hermione. I've always loved their shipping, but I think she's so mismatched with Ron that it works and it's cute.

Oh my goodness this was terrific! I LOVED that scene: best Hermione/Harry scene of DH1 besides the part where they kiss (just an illusion, though) but still they kissed! This was very awesome and if you could, please write a second chapter!

I'm a R/Hr fan, but when I saw this part of the movie, my heart was about to explode. It was so sweet, and it made me appreciate filmmakers adding in extra scenes to give the material a little boost.
