What's a hobbit?

Beautifully done. Characters are represented perfectly, and it's been far too long since I've seen a good 'first contact' story of any kind.

I am also very impressed that you are willing to take reader's ideas into consideration. I must confess I have no ideas for a scenario right now, but give me some time, and I'm sure I'll think of something.

This one, and it's companion piece, are real little gems. I'm glad I was able to find them as quickly as I did. I can't wait to see more.
