I like the way this is written, Powhatan's perspective seems to avoided for whatever reason (perhaps because we don't know much about him), but I think you did beautifully! :D

The chief seemed a little harsh for a disney movie, but then, he did assume that John murdered his future son-in-law...
I especially love the last three lines of this story

The repetition of "the reason" and the mention of Pocahontas's mother and the final conclusion of love, very touching.
I have also been reading some of your other Pocahontas fics, and wow, you have improved alot from when you first started writing them. Thanks for sharing and continue to write your lovely stories.

YOu know I loved this. It was just like scene that could have been cut from the movie! The characters were spot on and I love how Powahoton came to the realization of his daughter's motives, yet still wouldn't admit he was wrong.

Great job!
