That was funny and short, but though it was short, you could work on some structural weaknesses in your verbs, though I understand the rest of it being so plain to add to the humor.

Lol, the sad thing is how true this is and how closely this resembles the Final Fantasy series. hehe, i'l look froward to FF 379.

You hit so many final fantasies so many times, yet I don't think that any got hit with every point. I appreciate the way that you've pointed out that EVERY FLIPPING FF GAME HAS THE SAME STORYLINE. In addition, one could add the fact that all or most FF games have Chocobos, homes that are attacked/destroyed, Shiva, Ifrit, etc., the one person who hates using actually weapons, and instead uses fists, and a few other things.

Very Very Very Funny

You know what, you've just summarized not only the whole FF series, but pretty much every RPG out there. Maybe you could get a position at Squaresoft as a script writer (j/k). Good one _

Honestly, this is quite amusing...mostly because it follows the generic, over-stereotyped form of "cool" seen nowadays. It seems that the main character is always a loner who falls in love with some chick or another who tries to teach him about love in her annoyingly roundabout way. Good examples of this are "D" from Vampire Hunter D, Squall from Final Fantasy 8 (you seemed to have based your fic after this one in particular), Laruga from Zettai sword, Shadow from Final fantasy 6 (I know, he doesn't get a or anything...he just has that 'don't care about anyone/anything style of attitude), Guts from Berserk (Based after the Sword of the Berserk Fury), and Akuma from Akuma: Daemon Prince of Tokyo. I love the Final , but I also love a good parody...and yours is one of the best.

It's funny because it's true. Great take on the generic plot of all Final Fantasy games, and to some extent RPGs in general. Thought I must admit to it having the same falling a few others mentioned, no chocobos.

I know it's been said before, but I'll say it again. This is quite, quite accurate in at least some way about nearly every Final Fantasy game I've played.

Generally, if a story doesn't break 1000 words, I don't read it, because almost all of them have been very, very bad. After noting the genre and having read your other work, I thought I check it out.

Boy am I glad I did.

Short. Funny. Well written in all aspects. And, believable to a degree that should not be. (oops. that wasn't supposed to rhyme) You really are very talented.
