Quirky twist in this story, well written. Sounds very much like classic Jack behaviour, glad to see Ianto's reaction was not typical ... he finally realised he was worth more than Jack had valued him, finally realised he could walk away from Jack's crap. Surprised Jack didn't shag Gwen though, both of them are extremely selfish, self-centred people ... made for each other! Rhys and Ianto are the sensitive ones ... hey, perhaps these two could get together ... they both deserve better partners. What do you think?

12/13 Hi. I'm sorry about that. Now that I've calmed down, how about a real review?
This was soooooo great (though admittedly I wish there was an end). The bit with Owen being, like, intelligent and sensetive was kinda mind-blowing, but in a way where you think 'he definitely HAS to be that smart, or else he wouldn't be at Torchwood, but this really is a realistic way for him to show it.' I swear my heart froze and the beginning with 'demand and supply,' I reread the previous few paragraphs thinking 'I obviously interpreted that wrong,' but NOPE!

I absolutly love those two paragraphs right near the end of the Gwack scene where he wishes it was AWWWWWWW! (TOo much squee to finish sentence
And the end is just... killer. What with Jack the FIRST time and then the *second* time! Ahhhh, I wish there was an end, you kind of killed my heart there, but you're obviously an incredible writer. I hope you decide to write much, much more Torchwood.

its gonna take more than tears, ranting and saying sorry for ianto to forgive this. he should make jack work for a relationship with him. i loved seeing that owen actually has a very wise head after all. now if you dont mind, there is a heavy sports bat in my hand with Gwen Cooper's name written all over it...

Well at least it ended with Janto. Poor Ianto. If Jack can't take care of his Ianto, I'll take care of him instead! Sorry, but I really hate Gwack.

No, seriously. I loved this. Your bastard Jack is a bastard and I loved how Ianto stood up for himself. Despite the overall story I absolutely loved the little side-piece with Tosh and Owen talking and I could just see, hope, for something more for the pair of them, it was just lovely.
I was surprised when Jack came barging back not once but twice and each emotional state was pure and raw and it was amazing. Unfortunately I'm going through an "I hate Jack" phase right now (seriously studying the episodes is not good for develolping a liking for his character) and you wrote such a perfect bastard!Jack that all I can think is don't go back to him Ianto and at the same time Janto is my OTP. Very messed up. If you continue this I would come back. If you don't I'm still bound to read whatever you write if it's for Torchwood.
I tend to both hate and love open endings because I feel that sometimes having the ending decided for me when it was going in one of several ways annoys me because of all the could have/should have beens. Open endings allow me that chance to think of all the possibilities but then on the flip side my mind wants to know what was the author thinking, where did they want it to go. So, if you don't mind my asking... where did you want it to go? or how did you want it to go?(Sorry for an obnoxiously long review. I believe I rambled a lot)

Ok, I like to think that Gwen isn't as selfish as that, Jack is definitely THAT stupid and Ianto finally showed some sense and actually didn't take any crap for a change. So yes I liked it and for once Owen said something sensible...that's gotta be the best bit! Thankx

Love it. I think it's very true to character -Jack never did realise when he was onto a good thing until almost too late. And I can see him wanting to go with Gwen, even if it's just once, just to know what it's like.
