From what I saw of Alec in the final ep, I think you've written him really well.

And the argument between Harry and Ruth was very realistic. They never seem to get to finish them on screen - always interrupted by someone or something - so nice to read one that actually gets some closure.

You get things perfectly tense and Harry's growing misinterpretations are so funny. :) And you build up such a lovely dialogue between the two of them… And the deafening silence when "everything stopped" is just exactly like them. And of course, nice turn in the end ;) – thanks for sharing!
