I really enjoyed this excellent fic. Great characterisations.

Once again I find that you present your readers with a well told story D

One that picks up small details from the show and adds to them. One that features not only major but also minor characters as well as your own. And it shows that thought went into this. Quite a bit at that actually which I really appreciate. All the characters you present are lively and those who are known already behave just as you'd expect. Even tough Spock went way out of his comfort zone in the last chapter.

Also, after finding out what McCoy found as a present for Spock and seeing your note at the end of the chapter, I am quite sure I know what of your stories I will read next XD (I had planned to read it anyway and this is as good a reason as any XD

I simply adore how different all the chapters are, how the mood differs, how the working and personal space is influencing the events on the Enterprise...it really is nice to see D And true to the title
Also, I made the discovery that I have apparently not yet seen one episode of the series. (How did that happen? I own the DVDs an watched it all in a row! But evidence is clear...) so I have to thank this story of informing me about it. -Which is actually quite nice. That means I have still one 'new' Episode to see Xb

Questions left unanswered: None really, just a few things to wonder about. I wonder if Sulu ever DID call in the favour Spock owes him. And if so, what was it? By the way: the idea of having a mini sunflower for Kirk was really touching. I wonder what he thought of it. There are other things but I'd say they are up for readers imagination

These stories are pretty good except for one thing. Yeoman Rand’s character is nothing like what you’ve portrayed her as. Yes, she is attracted to Captain Kirk. And he is attracted to her (Some examples of this, The Naked Time and Miri) She isn’t the ships biggest flirt or a trouble maker and I also don’t think Uhura would talk about her like that.
I like these stories and adjusting the attitudes of the characters can be great for making stories interesting, but not in this case. Please try not to be insulting to these characters.

After finding and reading the entire story in one night, I can honestly say wow. I am impressed. Deeply impressed.

I love that you were able to take something and not only make it a nice, holiday story with a lot of humor, I got several laughs out of this. (Oh Bones XD) But it was peppered with a lot of character development and sadness and then you were able to take several mini characters and give them the spot light for a while.

And to finish it off, the story feels right. There's a lot of depth added to the characters and it just works. I have to say kudos. Adding this to my favorites doesn't feel like enough.

Absolutely brilliant story! It fits near perfectly with the established canon, and adds a whole new depth to it at the same time. I love how you dig deeper into the motivations and thoughts of the characters we love so much, while simultaneously drawing us into the lives of either unknown minor characters, or your own extremely well made OCs. I really liked reading about what different characters ended up deciding to give the people whose names they drew for the gift exchange, especially McCoy and the fuzzy green slippers XD. Chee’tha was probably my favorite of the OCs here. He’s so sweet and considerate!
Once again, I am in awe of how you’re effortlessly able to interweave drama, action, romance, and humor together into one strong, cohesive narrative. Seriously, you could probably publish this, that’s how good this is. Even someone who doesn’t celebrate Christmas (like me), or someone with only a cursory knowledge of the series, can still enjoy and appreciate this masterpiece. Thank you so much for writing this!

Outstanding. It really takes skillful writing to make a reader care about original characters in such a short span of time, especially when they are probably reading because of their "old favorites." You did it and and did it well. I really loved Matthews.

Your characterization of the main characters was also good, believable within canon, but unique. You fit the various chapters together well into a very coherent piece.

I look forward to checking out your other Star Trek stories, especially as I'm also a Bible-believing Christian and always appreciative of "clean" content that's well-written.

Aah, so sweet. All the little resolutions to the various romances, griefs, and joys for the whole crew. My very favorite, though, was the way you resolved the Spock-Chapel relationship. The dance scene in particular was beautiful warm fuzzies, and the fingertip-cheek kiss when they accidentally stopped underneath the mistletoe... I almost fell out of my chair with the adorableness. This was a lovely little Christmas-in-April for all your devoted readers (all possible puns fully intended). Very beautifully done)

This was awesome and fun. I have read star trek novels before, and i like your stuff on here waaaayyyyyyy better. You should publish trek novels, you would make millions of dollars, at least from me because i would pay millions for them.
