i thought it was Carly who died until Sam said it was Melanie. i thought, "aww, why do people always kill off Carly to get Sam and Freddie together?" but since it was just Melanie i can forgive you.

Oh, I was not expecting this! I always read your new stuff, but when I saw the words "character death" I put it off, thinking it would be one of the main characters. You used a minor character, yet made it very intimate and emotional! I would never have thought to do something like this. Guess Freddie would have to believe she was real if he was at her funeral...

This was so good. I got tears in my eyes. At first I totally thought that Carly died, which was probably your intention, but I was blown away when I saw that it was Melanie.

Wow I was willing to bet that Carly was death... quite the plot twist indeed.
