Hi! I realize this is one of your earliest works, and I've thoroughly enjoyed your writing, so please accept this as constructive criticism and not an attempt to be cruel.

Annie has some very bad blind etiquette in this chapter. Auggie is a fully functional and self sufficient person; attacking him with a wet paper towel is rude, especially if she doesn't give him any warning. The concept itself is adorable, don't get me wrong, but I don't blame Auggie for 'squirming' - or worse!

Also, and this is probably a personal preference, I would have liked to see Auggie more involved in the mixing process. I'm fairly certain the man can handle a bowl and spoon - and more than likely the measuring and pouring, with a couple of hints. It would have been an adorable chance to banter and work together! I love the image of him carefully centering the chocolate kisses, though!

Again, please don't take this harshly; you've got a great sense of storytelling, and I enjoy the stories I've read so far! I'd just like to make sure Auggie gets a fair part, as the frankly awesome person he is - like everyone who has to deal with a 'disability.'

I loved it! Love, love, love, LOVED it! I read 37 other Christmas stories this year (not just covert affairs, though) and I think this was the best. I'm just sorry to see it go:(. BUT, now you MUST write a wedding story (even if it's very short) that follows this story! and btw I liked the other family members a lot, especially Grayson and Ari. Thank you for writing this story, it was very fun to read. Keep writing and have a good year (sorry its a bit belated).

I've been to Longwood Gardens at Christmas. Used to go there on field trips with my highschool art class to sketch the displays. Very cool of you. Not too many people outside of garden enthusiasts know about it. By the way loving the story!
