 yamifannetje 11/24/10 . chapter 1 I surely didn't see that coming!
Oh my, my hearts bleeds. It's so truly like Enjolras...
But it's just painful to know them just going on, like nothing happened. Of course, like Combeferre mentioned, Enjolras would be angry if he would see them just sitting there and forget about the revolution. He would be turning in his grave as the republic is pushed aside only for his dying. He would never have wanted to be the cause of the destruction of the revolution which was his entiere life. But it stays painful that just Combeferre, of all friends, must be the one to urge to go on, to leave what heave been and to focus on nothing but the revolution... Enjolras would be proud to see his closest friend being so much as he had been himself! :D |
 Sekhmet's Knight 5/12/03 . chapter 1*Deep Breath
Oh my God. That was incredible! So, so sad... |
Cordelia Jacobson 1/25/03 . chapter 1...Well aside from the fact that I don't like Enjolras dying of course. Laughs I liked the characterization in this story very much. I read a lot where people don't really know how to portray the other Amis, but you did it very nicely. I love the book, so it's nice to read something that could've been another extension with the same characters. Very nice in opinion- though I don't know much about writing fanfics. |
Jehan's Muse 10/19/02 . chapter 1Good God! Make me cry, why don't you! *sulks* Why does Les Mis have to be such a depressing book anyway? It's impossible to write cheerful fanfic about it, because they all die, horribly, and it's painful, and miserable, and everything is bleak and dark and unpleasant...
I'm sorry. Your story was beautiful. It really was. But now I'm crying, and I didn't want to cry today. *goes off to write story about Enjolras and Grantaire and the other Amis skipping happily through fields of daisies, holding hands and singing and generally being alive* |
Trashcandy 5/2/02 . chapter 1This is beautiful, the students are characterized just wonderfully.

l.a 4/21/02 . chapter 1 Poor Enjolras! Now Combeferre leads, right? I love this one. Great title! |
Epigone1 3/28/02 . chapter 1I can't figure out why no one's reviewed this yet. It's executed pretty well Les Amis were, for the most part, characterized well, and it's an interesting premise. It almost seems a little rushed, though, in the later parts. Maybe that's just me. Regardless, it's a neat story. |
