Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Most Saw fics I read are either steamy romances or over-the-top trap fics that make no sense whatsoever (not that some of the traps in the movies made sense, but that's a different matter); however, yours stands out. Minus some grammatical errors and awkward wording, this is a very well constructed first chapter. The dialogue is pretty much spot on, and the trap that you came up with is good - gruesome, but not too much. Sacrificing hands has been done before (Saw V - The Pendulum Trap), but I'm fine with that; it's not like the Saw series left much room for originality. :P

Ouch. Poor guy cuts off his own hand then dies. What a waste, lol! I love this movie, and this is a good fic so far! Keep it up ;)

Gruesome! And very cool! I noticed a few grammatical errors in the chapter but it does nothing to distract me from the actual story. I will read more of this tomorrow.
