With the characters, it was great that you wrote their feelings during the event such as :

"Her face was covered in dirt, and her hair was a mess as well, and the expression on her face was one of fear and confusion."

But if you want to go in depth, then describe her confusion, like questions revolving within her head and her paranoia of what's going to happen to her that would cause her to feel fear. Her rescue was really in a snap that I had no hesitation in believing that they would find her without bruises and pain.

Great that you made it this far though. This review isn't meant to shame you or anything, just a brief critiquing.
