i think you should change the part "im not in love with himura the battousai. im in love with himura kenshin, the rurouni." because if you are in love with someone, you should be in love with his/her entire being right? i mean, how can you be in love with half a person? kaoru might have been afraid of battousai, but she excepted him. thats why she married kenshin in the end. she knew that kenshin would turn into battousai when he was angry, but she still married him right? i think that you should analyse their characters a bit more, and not just know their outside self, but know what they are actually feeling inside. try to get to know them more. :p
