| Psycho Sin Mafia 5/6/13 . chapter 17
Ok I'm a little late to the party.
I first read your SVU/Buffy crossover, (which I loved BTW) and decided to give this a shot.
I was not disappointed. I think I'll see what other works you got.
| Psycho Sin Mafia 5/5/13 . chapter 1
Defiantly feeling a Doctor Whoish vibe from the chapter.
As far as names go of course: Tom baker, Saab Jane.
| furunculus 2/5/13 . chapter 17
I really love this story. Thank you for writing it :-)
| Ookami Sakura 1/7/13 . chapter 17
Very nice epilogue! If this is you last chapter you should remember to change the story setting to complete. Your story was a good read, thanks for writing!
| hana 1/7/13 . chapter 16
I love how you got Maggie in on this! I really hope you update soon!
| Amazing 8/26/12 . chapter 17
Wow. Just read the entire story (took me a couple of hours) and it was amazing. I saw the whole thing play out in my mind like I was watching an actual episode of Leverage or SVU. Brilliantly written :)
| Gorgolo Chick 7/21/12 . chapter 17
This is a truly excellent piece of writing. I've watched enough SVU to admire your dexterous handling of those characters, and my own current writing obsession is Leverage, and I feel you've done more than justice to them as well.
You're obviously serious about your art, so I will mention one small thing that stuck out for me; Señor Morales speaks pretty darn good Italian for a refugee from Cuba. (I should talk, considering I can barely limp along in Tex-Mex.)
This sort of hard, gritty reality is real work to write, I realize, so I can only praise your skill. That you also made a show as stylized as Leverage meld with the gut-wrenching reality of SVU is most impressive. You really made me ache for Parker, and Nate was truly the oh-so-close-to-edge drunk Timothy Hutton portrays so brilliantly.
Which reminds me of another thing, actually, that did bother me - when Nate and Sophie were 'selecting' their 'purchases' you mentioned that there were young boys as well as young girls. It seems to me that would be very much a button-pusher for Nate, considering the youngest was barely older than Sam Ford was when he died, and that was THE life-changing event for Nate. Whether he could hold it together and keep the con going is writer's task to work out, but I do feel like he should have had a major struggle, and Sophie should have been very aware of the possibility of him going postal over that. I'm not saying he would care any less about the girls or the older children; just that he would be ripped to shreds internally by seeing victims so reminiscent of his lost son.
I see that you last updated back in February, but hopefully you keep an eye on your children here and will know you've gotten a new review. May I inquire hopefully that you still intend to update with one more chapter giving the classic Leverage 'rest of the story'? By the way, I've only known Leverage something like a couple of months now, and being an inveterate writer, I'm not doing a lot of reading while I've got plot bunnies chewing my ankles, but hanging at my favorite coffee shop from the end of bus service until it starts up again in the morning, at the start of my vacation, I've spent the night immersed in your genius instead of working on my next chapter!
| W.S.C. Magica De Spell 3/2/12 . chapter 17
Really amazing chapter :)
| ladybugsmomma 2/21/12 . chapter 17
Well, at least everything ended for the better! I can't wait to read the flashback chapter! Excellent work!
| Darksoul01 2/14/12 . chapter 16
Just found your story yesterday, and finished reading it this morning...love the plot so far...can't wait for more chapters!
Well written, no awkward dialogue...you've captured all the characters personalities very well. Thank you for an enjoyable story!
It seems ADA Cabot might...have a bit of a soft spot developing for Mr. Spencer...
Again, excellent story...thank you!
| nas2439 2/4/12 . chapter 16
Wtf maggie collins as in nate's ex – wife
if she's not part of the con
nate's going to go ape shit
I think he owe's eliot for saving her
| zombieleopard 2/1/12 . chapter 16
Can't be a coincidence, can it? I mean the Maggie Collins bit.
This would've been in a different chapter, but I like how delicately you handled the psych bits. I remember starting a fanfic that had someone saying Becky Jackson from Glee was autistic. George Huang is too cool for someone to have him bullshitting. I have to admit I was worried about that when I started the fic - probably mental weariness at filtering Criminal Minds fics - what are people thinking when they write this stuff?
| jsjel 1/16/12 . chapter 16
Found this story, and realized I loved it a lot more than I thought I would. It's brilliant, fun, and feels like a Leverage (episode or arc) that could truly happen were these two shows to crossover. I think your characterizations are spot on and I hope you get another update out soon because I'd love to see the whole thing resolved (and maybe the team of Leverage sending a thank-you/we got you letter or gift to the detectives of SVU - just to let them know that the best thieves and mastermind are really that good :)
Love it lots and please update again.
| alinaandalion 1/2/12 . chapter 16
I like the reveal of Maggie at the end. Very nice.
| Tzigone 1/2/12 . chapter 16
Oh, I cannot wait until they find out who Maggie is. It will be beautiful.
