WOW! This is just love! I love everythign about it! Although i just hate how alsmot everyone is coming between Alexander and Hephasetion. T_T Adn teh letters! omg! it sounds sooo sad and depressing. My poor Hephansetion always suffer for his insecurities and love for his Alezander. But nonetheless i am very excited for your upcoming story!

It's a shame that do to Alexanders weakness with bagoas That Alexander has know idea what he is doing to Hephaestion. Or is it Alexander does not care?

I find Aristotle's letter a little disturbing though I think it's very much in cue with what Aristotle would write to Hephaistion.

It's great to know that you are going to write another story for which these two letters serve as a prequel. Good luck with that and hope to read it soon.

I like that this story has a happy ending. The banter between Alexander and Hephaistion during and in the end of their 'wrestiling match' was very entertaining to read; of course, the conversation that they had before was far more serious.

I like the idea that Hephaistion rejected Ptolemy's idea about Alexander proclaiming him his eromenos. I frankly thought it a good idea in the end of the previous chapter, but seeing Hephaistion POV, I am not so sure and I can't quite tell whether Ptolemy's intentions were good or not.

Olympias letter was unbelivable "I insist that you write to me" poor Alexander with a mother like her, but the one who has all my pity is Hephaistion, imagine to have THAT as a mother in law.

The second letter was a little sad, or at least for me, you know how I hate Bagoas, and to read how Hephaistion suffers because of him is really sad :(

Not to listen to Perdikkas? awww! Poor Perdikkas, I really like him, even if he was a moron sometimes,

I definitely love this Aristotle, lovingly rough. He really understands Hephaistions, and can read through the lines.

I liked the idea of showing what the characters are doing and feelings through letters, not even written by them... Great job.

FINALLY it is letting me review! Actually, I didn't try last night because I was working, but anyway...

Aw, I loved this story so much, I'm quite sad there is only an epilogue. This was a sweet ending, but not too sweet, if you see what I mean. It kept some elements of humour, which always stops something becoming sentimental, and also included hints of doubt, showing clearly that the future can't always be as simple as this.

I'm sure there were a few nitpicks, but I've been so impatient to review, I've forgotten them... no, there was one thing - you do need to watch your punctuation around dialogue a bit - if you have one piece of dialogue, then a sentence of narrative, and then the same person carries on speaking, it should be commas not full stops.

Anyway, I really enjoyed this story, despite not having seen the film, and this was the perfect ending!

I like a lot the conversation between Alexander and Hephaistion; its very emotional and Hephaistion truly opened his heart for Alexander letting him know what he really felt. I love this kind of conversations :D

And Alexander is so sweet with Hephaistion. I love this part: "The truth that I would have no idea what to do with myself if you weren't around to guide me!"

I absolutely adored this chapter.

I found your Hephaistion very intersting, and though we can affirm he sometimes is a little stubborn, his bitter reaction to the idea of being owned by his friend, his fears to be left apart by Alexander in his rush to success, make him adorably human.

The very last lines really moved me, I found them utterly poetic.

Your Olympias is truly something evil, and such a controlling woman, argg I hate people like her. I like a lot the scene where Alexander finds Tia, especially knowing that the Queen had sent her to his room, ohhh poor girl, what an embarrassing moment.

Mm…Hephaistion is too friendly with Perdikkas, I wonder if something would happen between them?

Your Ptolemy gives good advices, I hope Alexander listen to him.

Sorry it's taken me a while to review this! Another great chapter, I love your characters (even Olympias ;-)).

Poor Alexander and Hephaestion, I did feel sorry for them when they managed to miss each other again, although it made me smile too! I liked the little interlude with the slave girl, it showed Alexander's kinder side.

Ptolemy was great, very well described, you've done really well in this story with painting good characters even when they're only in it for a very short time.

I'm afraid I'm really tired, so I wasn't really checking for nitpicks. All I can say is that nothing jumped out at me!

Anyway, sorry for a bit of a short review, but like I say, I'm absolutely shattered. Going to go and reply quickly to your message (and reviews, god, I'm so behind) before I go to bed.
