I quite enjoyed this, though it took me until "Miriam" to recognize the context. This works well both on its own and in connection to the much, much larger story, which I suppose embodies the spirit of The Sandman as a series.

This is honestly quite incredible. It's always interesting to have short stories that fill the small gaps in the bible, and you did it very well. Morpheus was well-written without seeming too much like some friendly person. Keep it up!

Oooh. How intriguing. It makes me sad that I've never heard the original version before. However, being Jewish myself I like to see tales relating to Jewish mythology, so I enjoyed this.
