princessofthescoundrels 8/18/11 . chapter 5I tried something like this once. Failed miserably. The circumstances, witty dialouge and 'conflicting emotions' causes the reader to be sucked into this new possibility. I think I'll start consitering your timeline as EU because the 'canon' one certainly isn't cutting it for the majority of the Star Wars population even though many others along with myself keep buying those darn books. Anyway, the two (four if you count Chewie and Luke) are adorable together and although you mainly include Han and Leia what parts Chewie and Luke have are always a delight to read, not a burden as they are in some of the H/L fics out there. I throughly enjoyed every word, it made me feel as if I was there. Thanks! |
chankljp 5/2/11 . chapter 5I really like the idea of this story with Leia and Luke finding out about their heritage from Padme. I have always wondered how the two families that has been separated for so long would have reacted when they were finally reunited. But I just find the idea of Leia becoming the representative for Naboo to be just a bit too unrealistic (No offense was intended, I am only just write what I think). After all, in the story she noted herself that she has only been part of the family for like less then a year. Also, she hasn't lived on the planet for any extended period of time at all, will she really be able to understand and represent the needs of the people of Naboo? But overall, I do find the story to be nice and heartwarming. Thank you for sharing it! |
GinnyWeasley543 4/4/11 . chapter 1i love it! |
Lily Skywalker 1/27/11 . chapter 5I liked this whole story! :) Realistic or not, I don't care if Leia is suitable for a senator of Naboo. I really like it better than her to became Mon Mothma's puppet or padawan or a future wanna-be-Mon-Mothma, what she will be in the EU books. ;) Oh no, Leia and Han shouting at each other again, I hope Luke didn't hear it! ;D |
GoldenJedi 1/9/11 . chapter 5Beautiful though somewhat sad chapter... |
Zyra M 1/4/11 . chapter 5Oh, Leia has so much to sort through. I think you are doing a great job of showing us how they would be dealing with this, that Han is there for her but the issues are always still looming and their relationship isn't quite perfect as a result. And poor Han wants to be able to fix things for her but she really does have to come to terms with everything on her own, I guess. It's hard to read about her having to deal with figuring everything out, but it couldn't have been easy for her to figure out where her life should go. And it makes sense that just having Han there, however much of a great thing that is, it just can't be the only thing she needs to make her happy. "You once told me that you couldn't see your future without me in it. But…I know…" Swallowing a lump in her throat, her eyelids blinked heavily, releasing the tears that had welled up in her eyes. "I know I wouldn't even have a future without you." I like that line a lot. Another great story of how their lives are moving forward, looking forward to the next one! |
Diggs 1/4/11 . chapter 5This chapter was amazing! The whispers of "you're home" at the beginning and the end of the chapter were especially lovely. I really enjoyed reading Leia's thoughts at the beginning. It seemed really natural, the way she started out trying to think of happier things yet reverted to dwelling on the argument. "Thoughts that she had tried her best to stave off began to flit around her, like minions around a Hutt." - Haha. Also, liking the reapearance of the castle shaped shell :) |
LynnisaMystery 1/3/11 . chapter 5I loved this chapter. There was so much depth and emotion to it! You're doing a really good job keeping these sequels strong. Great Job! |
A Diffrent Type Of Flower 1/3/11 . chapter 5I really enjoyed this chapter. Great job! |
suezahn 12/22/10 . chapter 4Wow, a powerful and painful chapter, but necessary. I think you did a great job of both capturing Leia's turmoil and Han's frustration. After all, as much as she's sacrificed for the New Republic, in some ways he's had to do even more. I'm still waiting for Leia to express any concern about HIS happiness... |
LynnisaMystery 12/21/10 . chapter 4This whole series of stories is fantastic! I'm really eager to see how this unfolds. It seems that Luke is always stepping on things unintentionally. I groaned out loud when he brought up the senatorial job! I can't wait for it to continue! |
GoldenJedi 12/21/10 . chapter 4Ouch, that was painful... |
Diggs 12/20/10 . chapter 4Nooooo! You can't stop there! More soon, please ;) "Like a key that is useless until you find the correct lock. Something had broke free inside of her and these pieces had flooded in, quickly and easily finding their places inside of her heart as if they had always belonged there but were merely waiting for the invitation to enter and make themselves at home." - Loved that bit, especially. |
ILDV 12/20/10 . chapter 4Good. |
Zyra M 12/16/10 . chapter 2This review is for the first 3 chapters, but this chapter especially, on the platform, nice :) And for those of you who don't know why this platform is so significant to them, you should go read "Shifting Impressions" to find out why. I love the idea of them making a tour of all of the places they should've made love but didn't. That tour would take a while ;) You've got them in such a good place with each other, and Han can really read her completely. She's going through a lot but he's there with her every step of the way, and she'll actually LET him be there for her, which is great. I love seeing them having some peace for at least a little bit, just enjoying being with each other. And of course I love that they can still so easily joke with one another: "...I guess I just never thought about this whole other set of people that might be out in the galaxy somewhere with my same eyes, and hands and…" Han squeezed her against him and said, "Short legs and small feet?" Hah, so adorable. Can't wait to see how things pan out with the relatives. I can't imagine meeting all of these people after not having known they existed for your entire life. |
