Cute story! I actually only caught the last part of the movie but it was cute enough that I decided I might check out fic. I think you did a solid job; that's exactly how Jay came across from the bits I saw. I know you stuck pretty much to the events in the movie (which isn't a bad thing, really), but it would be interesting (maybe in the future?) if you explored the final part/confusion more.
