Great story! I love all the details like Ares changing Xena's hair and the Roman and Greek names for the gods, the interaction between Strife and Ares (poor Strife lol), how Ares is still an ass towards Gabriel, and every moment between Xena and Ares 3, etc

Very interesting! A convincing take on the reality of "When Fates Collide"...You write Caesar a little differently than I would, but that's all right; I found your portrayal of Ares *very* touching, poignant and convincing. Particularly liked:

"Bring back a world in which she's alive," he said. "And just about my whole family's dead-and I'm a mortal man with nothing except a tumble-down shack and some chickens and a dog-"

and then later: "I'm tired...Losing her, finding her, losing her, again and again...it's too much. At some point it should just be over."

Your portrayal of Gabrielle was very believable, and I liked that even Callisto got a (convincing) cameo (I always loved Callisto!). Well done. I like this a lot!
