I just read all of your story to date but I wanted to put a comment in at chapter two because I think this installment has a lot of potential! I know you are trying to go for happy and fluffy, but I think you could totally push the humor and unbelievable situations that are trademark of Night Court. When I read that Harry and Christine left Abigail at home alone, the mom in me was screaming "noooo!", but the Night Court fan in me was saying "yup, that could happen." I thought it was a great set up for some great comedy, but you didn't take it anywhere-bummer! I know you're trying to record Abby's real life/personality, but I say have some fun with it and make it a little ridiculous! I think you did a decent job with the characters, Harry is light-hearted and Christine is a worry wort, but it'd be fun to see their other character traits come through, too. I'd love to see more courtroom mayhem-maybe Abby wanders away and everyone goes on a wild goose chase to find her? Anyway, those are just my thoughts :) Thanks for sharing your writing here! Anne

Most of the FanFic I've read on this site has been, quite frankly, atrociously depressing - like they forgot this show is a comedy, not a tragedy - but I've read two pieces of Markaleen's work, and the worst I could do is nitpick a few spelling errors. Which means that there are few real material problems in this writing.

It's warm, carries the comedic nature of the show at least in its undertones, and gets to the heart of the show.
