LOL! fUNNY!

I suppose I'm about 8 months late reviewing this after first reading it, but it's overdue. This was a fun one-shot. I'm a little surprised Liara would be ignorant of Christmas, since as an anthropologist, I imagine she'd have set time aside to research human culture after its introduction to the Mass Effect universe. Even so, this fic is cute enough to get away with that.

Really random NPC Crewman? You're going to kiss the visibly confused biotic just because there's mistletoe hanging over her? Good thing she's Liara and not Tela Vasir, or you'd probably get shockwave'd all the way to the North Pole. :P

My only disappointment with this story, besides the fact that you could have done more with it (Joker in a reindeer costume, maybe? Just thought of that off the top of my head), was that no one had the gumption to somehow get Wrex to wear a Santa costume. He would have made an interesting mall Santa. Ho-ho-DIE! I guess humor can only go so far when characterization gets in the way, would you try to forcibly dress up a biotically powered bloodthirsty dinofrog? :P

On an OT note, I tried to PM you last night, but I got a message saying I couldn't contact you because we had conflicting versions of FFN's Private Messaging Systems. I ran into a similar block when trying to use a review reply to one of your old reviews to one of my fics. Think you could shoot me an email via your MSN account? I have never thought about holidays in the Mass Effect universe:P Thinking on it now though does make this seem really realistic too xD

Hahaha. It was so funny to look at the Christmas decorations and festivities from an outsider's point of view. The "Vulcan" ears CMU. I think I laughed the hardest when she went to see the doctor, and the woman turned around to reveal *gasp* a Christmas tree! "No... No! Stay back!"

But it was also hilarious when they were just trying to calm her down and she dodged her way down to the cargo hold...and then completely disabled the elevator!

Oh no, wait a minute, I think I laughed the hardest at: "They're... it's like Dawn of the Dead up there" hahaHA! And ya, the part that immediately followed CMU too. ;) (Ooh, speaking of which, I've got something to tell you related to that which will NOT make you happy - remind me).

Ashely's explanation of the holiday was very nice and gave this comedy a sweet touch.

You did a terrific job guiding a newbie, or in my case a "no"bie, through the Mass Effect universe. I felt like I got a good read on the characters and how they related to Liara. Hey, would this Shepard fellow be THE Anthony Shepard?

Even if this wasn't meant as a Christmas gift to me, I would still have enjoyed it and added it to my favorites. An entertaining and well put-together tale. Thanks _ Metro. I'm all set for a fabulous Christmas season now...especially with that song now stuck in my head. ;P
