Very nicely done! Thanks for writing this, it's good to see someone looking at the story from Ruto's point of view, rather than just bashing the ever loving crap out of her. Still don't get why she has so much hate from the fans. I'll admit she's not my first choice for shipping with Link, but she's definitely not my last either. Very well-written fic. :)

I found myself searching through the Legend of Zelda section and found this story. The description peaked my curiosity so I gave it a shot. It blew me away. Your ability to cleanly tell Ruto's life in a few pages is fantastic. Your goal was to show her in a progression of growth; and you accomplished that goal. The story is polished and full of emotion.

This was a good, serious look at a character who usually doesn't get that kind of attention. I'm not too fond of Ruto myself, but you did a great job!
