That moment when Bloom called her parents by their names made me want to reach through the screen and choke her. To be honest, I can imagine Bloom doing this. Maybe not exactly so cruelly, but I can imagine it.

I was adopted as a newborn and my adopted parents saved my life. I might not be alive if it hadn't been for them. My biological parents were, well, screw-ups, I'll say.

I have met my biological parents and am getting to know them, but I call them by their names. They will NEVER EVER replace my adoptive parents. I don't even use the word "adoptive" when I talk to people about them. I just say "parents", unless someone asks (which people often do because I look nothing like either of them). I can even remember the day my parents told me I was adopted (I was 13). I looked at them like they had spoken Chinese. They said they just wanted me to know and figured 13 was a good age. I still think it wasn't necessary. Nothing changed. They were still-and always would be-my parents.

Sorry. I didn't mean to get so caught up. It's just that this kind of thing really gets under my skin. I have heard of people ditching their adoptive parents for their biological ones just because those were the people who gave birth to them and it makes me mad. What's important is who raises you, not who gives birth to you.

Not to say that giving birth is unimportant, of course.

this is a good story but i can't see bloom acting this way but hey its your story so who am i to tell you any different keep up the good work

Oh poor Mike and Vanessa, I really felt sorry for them. Also, have you seen the trailer for the second movie? Well, there's a scene in Bloom's house on Earth & both sets of parents. She asks ''Dad, what are you doing here?''(or something along the lines) and when Mike opens his mouth to reply she says ''Not you! You!'' and points at Oritel... Ouch! It's sad to see that the people that have raised her for over 16 years are tossed away whiwout a glance and all that matters to her now are her real parents. I really do hate Bloom at times like these.

Anyways, I loved the fanfic and I wished that Vanessa would really slap Bloom across her face to knock some sense into her! Great job:)

Ooooh, I'm ticked. Not at you, it's a good fanfic. At Bloom. Because one, this DOES sound like what it must have been like, only exaggerated. And two, as you mentioned, she barely knows Oritel and Miriam. They could be totally abusive. Or worse.

But great job! My one problem with this fic is "Despite Vanessa had the urge to gave Bloom a well deserved slap..." That part confused my eye. Maybe there was a way to say that part a little better?

Harsh. And yeah, VERY OOC. Even at her most shallow I don't see Bloom acting this way, though I do agree it's ridiculous how she calls her parents by their names.

I wanted to punch Bloom in the mouth for being such an ungrateful brat. I'm adopted myself and so is my brother. It doesn't matter who gave birth to you it matters who raised you.

I would've liked it if Vanessa had given bloom a swift kick in the rear when she was being such a brat, I know my mom would've done that. But still it was good and I thank you for pimping my story too LOL
