This is one of my favourite Buffy stories.

This has to be one of the best pieces of writing I've read in quite some time. I love your style. I love your Faith, your Buffy, your Angel, your Lorne! Every emotion was perfect. Being a B/F shipper, I chose to read it that way, but it was fantastic either way. Breathtaking.

Wow, this was brilliant writing. It's stories like this that make me want to write in first person. Though i'm not sure if this is 1st or 2nd person narrative; still really well written. The characters personalities fit perfectly down to the finest detail like anyas memo. This worked as a short story broken into days and the pacing was great. This was recommended on and I agree that you should do more fuffy fics since you have a talent for them.

...W.O.W. This story is a masterpiece, one of the best I've ever read, and I have read many, many excellent stories. Poignant, horrific, gripping, tender, redemptive, informative, promising...I don't think there was one sentence that didn't move me in some way. Your 2nd person Buffy voice is outstanding, truly brilliant, and it amazes me that you are not her. How are you able to write like that, to immerse yourself so totally into her character and BECOME her so believably? Her acute observations of Faith's decline, her sensitivity to it, her compassion, empathy, and sympathy were relayed throughout the entire story. As well as her feelings/observations on Angel, Lorne, Xander, Dawn, Giles, Fred, etc, and of course: "...the Potentials. Slayers. Whatever you're calling them now."

This story is a monumental accomplishment, a feast, one to be devoured and savored over and over and over again...and again.

Wow, fantastic look at both Faith and Buffy. Really felt like you did the characters justice here.

I like the style of this story; the third person aspect of it is particularly effective.

Buffy and Faith were just as stumblingly awkward in showing affection for each other as they should be :D and the ending was sweet (and angsty).
