First person, present tense is hard to pull off, and I think you did a good job of it. Is there a particular reason you chose that combination?

I'm glad you put the note that it wasn't a one shot because at the end I wondered why Lily was crying-that isn't the reaction I would've thought she'd have-and why you named it Christmas at Home if they were leaving it! :D
