This was such a wonderful story. I enjoyed it so much. Characterizations were spot on. I'm glad that you covered all that the episode left out.

I'm also very happy that you touched on the idea that Scully is immortal, this episode is a blatant example that she could be and not many people look at it.

GReat story, especially loved this line: "Loping, hard-shod steps took them to the utility closet, where Skinner locked the door, flicked the switch, and prepared to show his wayward protege some metaphorical light." I was doing okay until I got to metaphorical light and then I had to smile.
