So happy to read that your Mom was supportive of your writing and I know she must have been very proud of you for doing something you love and sharing it with all of us. Reading fanfiction is one of my most favorite downtime activites besides being with my family and friends and has really helped me find a wonderful escape when my own life gets a little too crazy. So glad that you are continuing to write and I am really enjoying this story that you have dedicated to your Mom. I started reading it last night while my Mom and I and my two children were staying at a hotel just outside Washington DC to see the Ice exhibit. My family had all fallen asleep so I took a little time to read and found myself checking out your new story.. anyhow after reading the authors notes it made me get up from my place in bed beside my youngest over to my Mom and daughters bed to give them both a kiss. You reminded me how precious those kind of moments are. Big hugs and warm thoughts are with you! Take good care of yourself and I hope you are able to find peace and joy during this holiday season. |
