I had to read this twice to figure out exactly what happened. Excuse me for a second, I have to pick my jaw up off the floor. This is a bit sad for a story published around Christmas, but who am I to talk. I haven't watched a Christmas movie from beginning to end yet this year. I plan to rectify that tonight.

Call me crazy, but I actually wish I could see a longer version of this that goes deeper into what all the characters were thinking and feeling, especially the kid.

You really have gotten better at writing over time, though you've always had great ideas that never would've ocurred to me.
