I faved for this first chapter, which is crazy and uncommon of me and so is reviewing and I have all the feels and I just DON'T EVEN KNOW.

Oh, this is absolutely brilliant! I do hope you write other characters' deaths—I'd like to see Mycroft's, and maybe Irene Adler's?

…new headcanon from S2 for Irene. Won't specify, because spoilers (if you've seen BELG and wouldn't mind my babbling, just say the word and I'll babble at you), but omg new headcanon.

Oh, and Lestrade's. I'd love to see all the different ways that Lestrade could die. That did not come out the way I wanted it to. What I mean is, he's a copper, he gets into trouble, surely he's been in at least one or two or three completely impossible situations.

And maybe Molly's? That could be her reasoning for becoming a person-who-does-postmortems (can't remember the fancy term for it).

You could also do Sally's, or maybe Mrs. Hudson's (one of them could be the murderous husband who was executed in Florida), or even Anderson's if you're inspired to. :) Just, basically, I'd read more in this 'verse if you wrote more. :)

You are amazing. While it's always painful to see beloved characters die, you do it so very beautifully - the underlying idea is also kind of funny, of course. ;)

This is unfathomably beautiful. I love how their deaths inform each of their characters, it's a really interesting way to explore how and why they've lived their lives in their own ways. And the end is bittersweet, but not, and I love it.

This was a very good story! I liked Sherlock's best though. Johns and Moriartys are both really awesome too! I can't decide which of the two I like better. Very good writing here. Keep it up!

Oh jeez, this was ridiculously interesting to read. Seeing all the deaths (so different but so poignant for each character) definitely had me riveted. Thanks for writing this!

(and if you're considering doing mycroft's deaths, do you think lestrade could have his turn too? lol, i mean, aside from the fact that i'm loving reading these, we've got to explain away why he saw sherlock come back form the dead and not totally flip out about it, yeah? :)

oh lord, i cannot believe i missed these updates! i think i love you. you barely had to change john's chapter to make it mesh with sherlock's at all and it really works. off to read chapter 3 now!
