One of the things I love best about your work is that the narrative is wonderfully easy to follow while the narration is wonderfully convoluted and complex. It's like you're drawing a straight line composed entirely of tightly bound spirals. I enjoy it tremendously. (Also, in case you're wondering why I comment so grandly when this is the first I've made on your work on FFnet, it is because I am the same pink avian aborist from EllJay (and also, you're apparently totally rubbing off on me, pinkavianarborstwut?).)

Finally: "Reportedly Cain Heel had the prowess of the mythic Golden Bull of Heavens." I know what you're referring to... which gives rise to a most expressive: what does /that/ mean? Did... did Setsuka... zip an tell?

Wow...Miko-chan's review kinda blew my mind with all the scepter talk... O_O Uh, I wasn't sure that he'd had the hair caught in the zipper. I thought for some reason it'd been a patch of skin, which can be much more painful, though hair caught is just as painful sometimes. Which was it?

Beyond that, I'm still kinda gaping. Reading your story was like looking in a funhouse mirror the whole time. You got allusions and ideas of what was going on, but it just didn't have a clear-cut quality to it. I'm still trying to figure it out. I will probably wonder for the next few weeks.
