This one started out good, but I think you really needed more conclusion, the ending was just too easy. Plus, Xander sort of disappeared during the whole confrontation with Willow, and I just can't buy that. He's been her friend longer than anyone.

I think it would have been cool to get Buffy, Xander and Willow alone together - the three original Scoobies, with Buffy and Xander trying to reach Willow. That's what I'm hoping for in the season finale. :) Still, not that bad. It has a lot of promise. :)

Oh, how great! I hope the finale is like this, except with some major hott S/B action! Heeheehee. Great story.

If it ends like that, I will seriously gag. That was cheap. I'm sorry, but it was. It just didn't have that *feel*. I mean, at first it kind of did, when Buffy and the Gang were discussing what they should do about Willow. But the whole Willow/Buffy showdown was just...not that great. It didn't hold that much emotion in it, IMHO. Sorry. I really don't mean to be like this, I hope you don't think I'm trying to insult you. I'm not saying this was badly written, it just doesn't really fit in with the characters. Then again, this is your POV of what could happen, and your entitled to your opinions, of course. I, for one, do not think the ending will be anything like this, but what do I know?

As for the story, itself, it wasn't that bad. Except it was resolved MUCH too quickly. I mean, one second, Willow was all mega-evil, didn't give a crap about anything, and then a second later, she's like, "aaaww, I'm back to normal, let's keep a'truckin!", and everyone went right along with it. That didn't jive with me too well, it felt like it ended much too quickly, almost as if you were just ready to end it, and you cut it off. My suggestions would be to lengthen the ending, and try and add some more emotional impact to the whole showdown between Buffy and Willow. It'd help a lot, I think.

Oh, and what's with everyone having Spike magically appearing right at the last second? Okay, yeah, it'll probably happen kind of like that, but still. All these season finale fics are starting to seem all the same...
