Seriously, I recognized the line from the summary almost immediately because I have been listening to that song on an endless loop for about two weeks now - that being said this was the perfect incarnation of this particular line, in my opinion. Because although we all know that Elena loves Stefan, she still seems to be floating along between the boys, and her words "Stefan: I love Stefan" compounded with the image of Damon's eyes at the end is just a magnificiant representation of that. *Sigh* I loved it! So short, so sweet, so encompassing. Brilliant.
