I really liked the opening. It was intriguing, however, you lost me as the second entry progressed, as it seems the narrator is simply using this to rant about the young man. Perhaps some depth, such as why she loves him so much? Why would Jesseabelle agree so easily to stand down and let the narrator take over? Do the girls have previous connections? Other than that, it was great!
