Oh, as an amusing side note; In the time it took me to read this tale in its entirety, I was able to listen to the Goldberg Variations played by Glen Gould. I finished the last chapter just as the last limpid strains faded. I must say it made for a very satisfying experience. ;)

I am in awe. That was a truly amazing piece of fiction Samantha. The term "breathtaking", comes to mind. I'm adding this story to my favorites list. Thank you for sharing.

*Very* ironic. Let me get this straight. Dr. Lecter's hanging out with the daughter of Clarice Starling's witness and none involved are conscious of this? Whoa...that's like you eating a 5th avenue bar on 5th Avenue while little kids eating Snickers bars snicker at you.
So Clarice is gonna have the unfortunate job of bringing Will back, eh? I'd duck and cover to see that. Poor Clarice...when somebody says "Don't say I didn't warn you..." it's code for,"If you WANT your head to be bitten off, spat out into a bucket of fish and served at the local Red Lobster DO THIS!"
Good chappie. No really looking forward to seeing the above fate happening to Clarice, so I'll watch from a distance. Nah, I'm kidding. I can't wait to see what happens in the Graham-vs.-Starling face off. DUN DUN DUN.
