Very good story. Liked chapter 6 the best and the idea about poison. It fits the BL universe rather well.

What a sad ending. Rotton is so incredibly in this and what does he get? Utterly crushed at every turn. Although expecting anything other from this setting would be optimistic, to say the least.

But this has been an interesting odyssey. If I recall correctly, he was assaulted in some way in every single chapter. How does someone who has such a huge handicap survive meetings with some of the deadliest people in the world? Through sheer, blind luck, of course. And willpower.

This has been a fun read. Definitely looking forward to more.

The dragon’s glimmer of softness was very sweet, after all the castrations and cruelty. And "noble, albeit touched-in-the-head" should be on Rotton’s business card.

I am so glad that you updated and we got two chapters out of it. I love the ending lines with Jin Long saying that Rotton is a Noble albeit touched-in-the-head. That just describes him so well even though its just a few words. I loved that Rotton kind of stood up to her even though he got owned later on. Kind of interested in how you are going to have Rotton fix the relationship between Jin Long and Shenhua.

What's not to like? An quixotic quest, very bad people getting sentimental, potential castration.

This is pure genius. The moment when he’s describing the loss of the khukri...it was a pretty badass moment in the manga, here it just makes Roberta look that much more powerful. Is it a blade? Is it a gun? No, it’s Roberta’s teeth!

Rotton’s fight is also great. It’s an endearing type of insanity, his obsession for being memorable. Someone’s just grazed him with a throwing-dagger and his reaction is to pull out his guns and... pose. Pose like there’s no tomorrow.

This is progressing nicely. There are fun appearances of past characters, hints at the strange dynamic between the Roanapur trio, growth of a sorts for Rotton. All characters so far have gotten their chance to shine and there’s the promise of more to come. Excellent chapter.

Simply a spectacular story, as usual. I love the characterization, and I love how you present the tale in such an intriguing way. I am glad that you are showing a side of Rotton that is not often seen, namely that he despite his attitude he was competent enough to survive in Roanapur, and apparently high enough on the ladder that he was included with the other more famous assassins in the team sent to kill Jane. Great work, and I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter.
