Voldemort is a terrible person! How could he do that to anyone, let alone children? I know that he's evil but that's awful. It was really well written, not graphic enough to be disgusting, but let's us know enough to sympathize and be terrified.

Isn't the dark mark usually placed on the left forearm? Is it because this mark is special? Other than that I really like your story and I'm glad that Snape and Harry (Emrys) are getting along.

Still confused on the hair: "Surely you've noticed the change in his appearance? How he fiddles with hair that isn't there. You've noticed and I'm sure he has his own ideas." Remus said firmly.

So... there is a glamour on him? He actually has longer hair but no one else but his father can see it? How could he have not felt it?

I realize this may be explained in later chapters but why on earth would his hair suddenly grow to shoulder length (which means at least 3-4" for ear height hair and up 8-10" for the hair on the top of his head) in the course of just a few weeks? Or was it growing all summer and he never noticed?

I love your story! I have been on this site for almost a year now and this the only story I've seen that has events in it like this one. I love the grandfather, he is a bit of a bastard though.
