Wow! I loved this story! I read all 22 chapters in just two days. I really liked how Nick and Annie liked back on story was also well-written, and I really enjoyed reading it!

So that's how the family split happens. I can't say I'm not glad, (except maybe for Julia's sake, she strikes me as slightly neglected emotionally).

Why am I feeling very apprehensive about what it coming up?

Yay!

I love seeing Annie's quiet strength. You've made her transition to the modern era so real and relatable.

Also thank god Nick has finally realized what he was missing.

thanks for the update. I'm glad you are continuing

I read the prologue and 18 chapters in one airring, and am really enjoying your version of mansfield park. l especially how you've given more depth to Hugo (Tom) and given the reader Nick's (edmund's) perspective on his self-realisation.

Can't wait to read the next part of the story!

Heck yeah we're still interested! I was so ridiculously excited when I saw that this story had been updated! I actually browsed through the Mansfield Park archives a few weeks ago because I needed a hit of Fanny/Edmund, and the two stories (this and another one) that are unfinished on my favorites list hadn't updated. And even if you don't finish this for the people that are still interested in reading it, I think you should finish it for the sake of not adding to the pile of thousands of unfinished stories on this website. It is a crying shame how many good, interesting, wonderful stories have been abandoned unfinished.

I'm still interested, at least. I'm really enjoying this story :)

I'm not sure I could be happy with Nick but I'll trust your judgement as to whether or not it happens. I'll look forward to more.

Yes, people are still interested in this story. This is perhaps my favorite Mansfield Park fic. I love this Annie and you're just getting to the good part! So if it's only a matter of knowing that people are interested to motivate you to finish this, then please please finish it.

Yes, please finish. I have enjoyed your story: your writing is smooth, the characters are likable and have grown, and the pace has been comfortable. Even after weeks of silence, I can orient myself in your story again. Thanks for sharing.

Please continue this story. I love the secondary relationships that allow for the strain and eventual break down in relations with the older generation and the superficial family members. The original novel is clearly only a springboard for the story you have developed from it, while showing how things would play out in the modern world of women's rights and a more relaxed 'moral' conduct. So please continue!

I like this take on Mansfield Park - and I do appreciate the fact that you didnt keep the 'cousin' relationship. It's a realistic take on a modern version of the tale while still quite heart-warming. I hope you continue with this story until its conclusion. Thanks for sharing.
