OneWay623 9/17/11 . chapter 1 That was quite amazing. I figured it would be very difficult to grasp the plot of Inception and modify it to a different story, yet you have done it splendidly. i love it. |
realityfling18 3/14/11 . chapter 1LOVE IT! omg, all of your stories are amazing. Love that you combined Inception and Code Geass-you just made my day! :) |
luckless-is-me 2/26/11 . chapter 1I read this when it you first posted it and, I'll be honest, I didn't understand it at all. At the time, I hadn't watched the movie and everything just sort of jumbled together. But, now I get it. I really, really get it.
I like how this was set up in a way that makes the memories hard to distinguish from the dreams, from reality. It really captured the feel of the relationship between the two and the mood that was eternally present in the mvoie.
And I love the end, because the top's spinning didn't even matter anymore. And, with the way that the world is 'not as beautiful' as Lelouch remembered it and the way that everything comes together there at the end, I like to think that the top fell completely, and that reality was more real than the dreams.
Anyway, this was absolutely wonderful. And, I'm glad I reread it. |
dazzledlovely 1/16/11 . chapter 1I think I'm in love with you. Your awesomeness remains undefeated. |
mochiusagi 1/15/11 . chapter 1aww that was really cute. |
loki lee 1/15/11 . chapter 1THIS IS SO PERFECT AND BRILLIANT AND AMAZING.
I love the end.
I love the middle.
I love the start.
Did I mention I love the end?
Anyway, I have seen a bit of inception, so while I don't understand all, I can get this. This feels so perfect. And it's just brilliantly written. I know I have one of your fics on alert...
ANYWAY. Thanks for the breathe-taking read. :D |
BlackDawn629 1/13/11 . chapter 1Does it make any sense that I didn't really understand it, but I liked it a lot anyway? It's hard to tell which part is memories and which part is dreams. The whole make your dreams real idea is nice too. This is amazing and you should totally make it multi-chaptered if you want to. |
cmcj 1/9/11 . chapter 1You, my dear, are awesome. (But you already know that.)
Reviewing AGAIN because I love it so and thank you and I should totally do something for you in return now, askjfskghkjedgh |
 EsmeTyler 1/7/11 . chapter 1Multi-Chapter? Prologue? PLEASE?
Whether yes or no I still loved this, Inception was amazing and it made me feel intelligent which in turn made me feel smug, which in turn stroked my ego. BD |
Anon 1/4/11 . chapter 1 Hello! I read this over at LJ (don't have an account either place, and somehow I'm reviewing here), but, uh, I think there are line/section breaks missing over here?
Anyway! I have long-awaited Geass/Inception fic, and, uh, this is just gorgeous (like everything you write!). To be honest it took me a closer re-read to understand fully what was going on - I think it's because I just somehow skimmed over some key lines the first time, though, (like, 'Before you ran away from the real world, you mean'), because on re-read everything is perfectly clear. A very Inception-esque, dream-like feeling permeates this fic, too, which is just lovely. Particularly that section which starts, 'The sunset starts out the same every day.' Your prose is as beautiful as ever.
One particular thing about this fic which I absolutely, absolutely love is the paralleled ending - most specifically the idea that Lelouch doesn't /need/ to look at the top ("Honestly, does he really need to? Lelouch knows the truth." AHHHH, love) anymore. Because I suppose that's how I interpreted the film ending itself; rather than frustrate myself over whether the top fell or not, I found it more contenting to interpret it as a representation of the fact that it no longer mattered.
Oh, and I loved this section. With "And incurably vain, apparently." Lelouch does not, however, mind imagining the real Suzaku saying so. "I suppose there's something to dream-psychiatry after all."" That line. The whole playing around with the subconscious concept. Ahhhhhhhh.
Hnnng everything about this fic is just, gah, endless amounts of love! Thank you for sharing. Wonderful work, as always !
